The roof
Everything starts with the roof. Until the school is watertight, every winter undoes a little more of what 150 years built — so the new roof, in matching Welsh slate, is the whole ballgame right now.
It's a big number for two people and a wheelbarrow, which is why every coaster sold, every membership and every coffee goes straight into the roof fund. Nothing skimmed, nothing wasted.
